About
Life is busy.
I understand that.
Bay Property Styling handles everything from the styling/staging, procurement of furniture, deliveries, assembly, installation, rubbish removal, and photography so you don’t need to lift a finger.
With one point of contact from start to finish, I offer The Finishing Touch for either staging your home ready for sale or short stay accommodation setup.
For empty homes that require a full transformation we bring in the necessary furniture to fill your home and combine that with hand picked items that really show off your home to be the best it can be so a buyer does not have to imagine living there. Alternatively we provide for the need of home owners that may not want to rent a full furniture package but use their own furniture to help them bring a fresh look to their home ready for sale. We de-clutter and then stage your property with complimentary styling items to give your home that Finishing Touch.
We are very experienced in setting up for short stay properties, which require a slightly more practical approach than simply just styling. With hands on practical knowledge of what is needed to run a short stay business we know exactly what to provide using budgets that range from $5000 to $100,000 or more, depending on the size, location and type of guest you want to attract, we have it covered.
MY BACKGROUND: I have a masters degree from Central Saint Martins in London and worked 20 plus years in the design and fashion industry as a design lead and been fortunate enough to have worked around the world for some of the greatest designer brands among Jil Sander, Donna Karen, DKNY Jeans, Narciso Rodriguez and Roksanda. I have always had a passion for interior design and architecture and doing a lifestyle change, I started as a short stay host myself and am a super host running two successful places in Hobart and Melbourne. Our Hobart place is in the top 10 accommodations to book on Booking.com as voted for by those who have stayed there. And this is down to the service we provide, the quality of the space, and the experience of the guests staying.
This has also led to me becoming a property manager for other short stay home owners with some of these owners asking for help furnishing their homes. So you could say design, in all its incarnations, is in my DNA.
